IRCON International 

IRCON International Limited began on 28 April 1976 as Indian Railway Construction Company and is now a Navratna (2023) listed since 2018. It is a Ministry of Railways public-sector engineering and construction company whose turnover crossed Rs 10,000 crore in 2023 and whose foreign project book is described as spanning 25 countries. It is not Indian Railways as an operator, not a real-estate broker, and not a private “overseas railway agent.” A zonal railway that awards a track or electrification package, or a foreign ministry that contracts an IRCON road or tunnel, is still dealing with the same listed contractor. The work book is civil and systems construction: track, roads, tunnels, electrification, buildings, and bridges, in India and abroad. Those disciplines are what the company builds. They are not a catalogue a chat seller can “allocate,” and they are not a claim that a tourist can book a factory tour by paying a personal UPI ID. A film about a tunnel breakthrough or a post about a foreign handover is public communication, not a tender, not a sub-contract award, and not a job-offer letter. IRCON is therefore an engineering, procurement, and construction Navratna, not a ticket office and not a placement agency. Bid documents, pre-qualification criteria, and career notices belong on official portals and exchange filings. Anyone who offers an “IRCON overseas posting,” a vendor code, or a “priority tender” against a deposit is outside the official process. They publish project films, listing and Navratna news, and public-information posts. They are not vendor-empanelment counters, not places to pay a “security deposit” for a fictional foreign assignment, and not authorised to issue bid clarifications in a direct message. Confirm order-book facts, annual reports, and recruitment on the official IRCON website. Treat other IRCON-looking pages as unverified until that site lists them. The 1976 construction-company origin and the 2018 listing sit in one legal entity; social colour does not create a parallel contractor.
