IIFL Finance
FinanceIIFL Finance is a listed Indian non-bank lender formerly known as IIFL Holdings, and a diversified credit platform whose core work is originating and servicing loans rather than taking retail bank deposits. It is not a scheduled commercial bank, not a stockbroker-only brand, and not a WhatsApp moneylender. Subsidiaries named in the notes include IIFL Home Finance, IIFL Samasta, and IIFL Open Fintech. A customer who applies for a home loan, a gold-backed facility, or a small-business line is still dealing with the group entities the company itself lists, not with a comment-thread “relationship manager.” Scale and financial cuts should stay as stated. The network is more than 4,900 branches across more than 500 cities. Assets under management are given as Rs 1,15,523 crore. Headcount is 37,189 employees as of March 2026. Quarterly income for Q1FY27 is Rs 2,202.4 crore. The credit opinion cited is CRISIL AA/Stable as of 30 June 2026. Those dates and rupee figures are company-stated snapshots; this listing does not annualise them or invent a matching profit number. FIT is the values acronym the company publishes for how it wants the franchise to behave internally. The product map is multi-line: housing through the home-finance subsidiary, microfinance-style and small-ticket credit through Samasta, and digital rails through Open Fintech, alongside the parent’s own gold and other retail books. Origination still needs KYC, underwriting, and the group’s own portals. A YouTube explainer can describe a festive offer; it cannot collect a CVV to “unlock” a top-up. Impersonation of IIFL-branded entities is common because the group name is widely recognised in broking and lending: look-alike pages often blend the two and ask for trading or loan OTPs in the same chat. Official social destinations—X at IIFL_Finance, Facebook at iiflfinance, Instagram at iifl_finance, LinkedIn at iifl-finance, and YouTube at IIFLFinanceOfficial—are brand and public-information channels. They are not disbursement desks, not collection counters, and not places to share an OTP, PIN, CVV, or password. Confirm products, charges, and repayment only on the group’s own sites or inside a verified app or branch session. If a stranger DMs a payment link or asks for a one-time password, close the thread.
