CSB Bank
FinanceCSB Bank is a scheduled commercial bank serving households, traders, and companies across Kerala and the rest of India, and a full-service lender whose core work is taking deposits, extending credit, moving payments, and distributing related protection and investment products. It is not a payments-only app, not a cooperative society, and not a non-bank gold-loan shop. A customer who opens a savings account in a Kerala town, books a safe-deposit locker, or applies for a working-capital line is still dealing with the same licensed entity that publishes the corporate site at csb.bank.in, runs retail and corporate net banking, and staffs the cash and service counters. The published book is retail plus corporate rather than a single niche. Everyday deposit accounts sit beside locker facilities, Mastercard debit cards, a loan suite, insurance distribution, cards, and investments. Retail net banking and corporate net banking are the self-service rails the bank names for those customers. Know-your-customer checks are part of onboarding and periodic refresh, not an optional extra someone can skip in a comment thread. The institution also records deposit-insurance and security-interest registration through the frameworks customers meet as DICGC and CERSAI, and it cites SISA among the compliance marks it presents on the public site. Electronic bank guarantees routed via NeSL sit on the corporate and trade side of that list: a documentary product that still needs the bank’s own portal or branch process, not a social-media form. Geography in the notes is Kerala and India, not a named headquarters city. The public website has moved to the csb.bank.in domain, which is the place for rates, charges, KYC document lists, locker enquiries, and net-banking entry. A Facebook post or a LinkedIn carousel can explain a campaign; it cannot replace those rails or collect “verification” codes. Official social destinations—Facebook at CSBBankLtd, X at CSBBankLtd, LinkedIn at csb-bank-limited, and Instagram at csbbank—are brand and public-information channels. They are not locker-allotment counters, not KYC collection desks, and not places to share an OTP, PIN, CVV, or net-banking password. Impersonation of Indian banks is common, including look-alike pages that ask for card numbers after a prize or a “blocked account” story. Confirm products, fees, and account opening only on csb.bank.in or inside a verified branch or app session. If a stranger DMs a payment link or asks for a one-time password, close the thread and use the numbers and forms on the bank’s own site.
