HCLTech
TechnologyHCLTech—formally HCL Technologies Limited—is a Noida-headquartered global technology company that grew out of the HCL group founded in 1976 and was constituted as a software-services business in the early 1990s. The public brand now uses the compacted HCLTech mark and the line “supercharge progress,” which is less a product name than a positioning: the firm wants to be read as an engineering-and-software house, not only as a labour arbitrage story. As of mid-2026 it employs more than 223,000 people across about 60 countries, reports consolidated revenue of roughly $14.8 billion for the twelve months ending June 2026, and runs on the order of 205 global delivery centres plus a large patent estate (more than 2,200 granted or filed, depending on the snapshot). Those figures move every quarter; treat social graphics as colour and the investor site as the ledger. The operating model is three-legged: IT and Business Services, Engineering and R&D Services, and HCLSoftware (products and platforms, including assets assembled through acquisitions). Vertical coverage is deliberately wide—financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, semiconductors, telecom and media, retail, mobility, and the public sector. Advanced AI revenue is now called out separately in earnings commentary, and the company has discussed investments in AI-oriented data-centre capacity in India. Delivery is still a people-and-process business: labs, near-shore hubs, and large Indian campuses sit behind the client logo on a slide. Leadership continuity around the Nadar family as promoters and a professional CEO office is part of how the market reads governance. Official Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X destinations in this directory are corporate and talent-brand channels. They publish campaign films, results highlights, patent and lab stories, and hiring narratives. They are not ticket systems, vendor portals, or places to send résumés that contain passport scans, or to pay “training fees.” Impersonation is common around large IT employers; use verified handles and confirm offers, numbers, and product claims on hcltech.com or in exchange disclosures. Content is largely English for a multinational audience, with India remaining the scale base. Read every post as marketing and public-affairs material from a 1976-origin Indian technology group that is trying to sell progress at enterprise scale, then verify material facts at the source.
